Questions

Q: DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT OR RETAINER?

Yes! I require a 50% non-refundable retainer on all of my sessions to lock in the day and time. This must be completed upon signing the contract. The other 50% is due one day before your session.

Q: HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY PHOTOS BACK?

I have a two week maximum turnaround time. It’s typically much less than that, though!

Q: How will I receive the photos?

All completed, edited images will be delivered via high resolution, downloadable gallery.

Q: HOW LONG WILL you store the photos?

I clean out my files every 3 months or so. I cannot guarantee that I will backup the images for you, so be sure to download the images and create your own backups. I do not store the raw files for more than 2 months.

Q: will you re-touch the way i look?

No. My goal is to capture you authentically, without any retouching. Aside from removing a noticeable fuzzy on your shirt or a speck of pepper in your teeth. :)

Q:I NEED PHOTOS TAKEN, BUT I DON’T SEE THE TYPE OF SHOOT LISTED.

Unfortunately as of 2021, I have shifted my focus to serving couples. From time to time I do host mini sessions, which are available to families and portraits! Keep an eye on my IG for those!

Q: Do i pick the location(s)

Great question! I have a list of my favorite spots in and around the Twin Cities area but if you have a special place you’d like to go, I am more than happy to meet you there.

Q: what is your service area?

I am located in Minneapolis but will travel anywhere within a 100 mile radius of the cities! Beyond that, reach out to me for more information!

Q: What should i wear?

I will always, always recommend solid clothing in neutral colors. This photograph better and will be truly timeless. Feel free to get creative with textures + layering-- movement looks great in photos! I am here for opinions, too!

Q: what does the booking process look like?

Very simple! Once I receive an inquiry or email, I will get to know you and your love story. If we feel as though we’re a good match, we will select a date and time that works! I will then send over the contract and collect the retainer!

Who said you have to have a special reason to have photos taken?! Whether you're engaged or are just looking for a fun + memorable date night, you're in the right spot. Let's capture your love authentically, without any restrictions.

Caught golden hour at the top of Barn Bluff with Rachel and Ryne for their engagement session! Overlooking downtown Red Wing and the river below, it was totally worth the 20 minute hike in 90 degree weather.

"Stephanie did an incredible job"

jealous? let's chat!

We had such a wonderful time working with Stephanie! From the initial outreach to answering our questions about what to wear, to making us feel comfortable in front of the camera, Stephanie did an incredible job. Not to mention, our pictures turned out amazing! If you are looking for a photographer who will truly capture you as you are, then she is your girl!
